Heron III

Heron III
Powell River: Along the seawall at low tide you’ll find individual herons in their ‘patch’ (and, it seems to me, always the same patch) searching for their next meal. These are elegant birds and have lightning speed when they strike to catch something edible near by. Interesting contrast to their slow and careful stalking to find their meal.
